Questions

Answers use what is on this site. Prices come from a written estimate, never from here.

How long does a flooring installation take?

Most installations take a few days to a week, depending on the size of the space and the material. You get an exact schedule with your estimate.

Do you provide free estimates?

Yes. Bring your room sizes or plans to the showroom, or send them through the contact form, and we come back with a written estimate at no cost.

Do you work on both residential and commercial projects?

Yes. We supply and install flooring for homes, new builds, rentals and business spaces in Manchester, Ontario and the surrounding area.

Do you price match?

Yes. We match a written quote on identical product we carry. Bring the quote to the showroom.

Which flooring is best for pets and high traffic?

SPC luxury vinyl plank: waterproof, scratch resistant and easy to clean. For a wood floor, a hard-wearing engineered oak with a matte finish hides wear best.

Where can I see flooring samples in person in Manchester, Ontario?

At our showroom, 14 Wardlow Rd Unit 2 in South Manchester, Monday to Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturday 10 am to 4 pm. Full-size samples of hardwood, luxury vinyl, tile, laminate and carpet are on the racks, and you can take samples home to check them in your own light.

Engineered hardwood or luxury vinyl plank for a basement?

Luxury vinyl plank. Its SPC core is waterproof and handles humidity swings, so it is the safer floor below grade in Ontario. Engineered hardwood is for confirmed dry basements with controlled humidity.

Is vinyl plank waterproof enough for a kitchen?

Yes. The SPC luxury vinyl we stock is waterproof and scratch resistant, which is why it has become the usual choice for kitchens, mudrooms and rentals.

What is large-format 24 by 48 porcelain and does it cost more to install?

A porcelain tile 24 inches by 48 inches, usually in a marble look, laid with very few grout lines. It needs a flatter substrate and takes longer to set, so labour is higher than for standard tile. We quote it per project after seeing the floor.

Can you put heated floors under tile?

Yes. Electric in-floor heating goes down before the tile and porcelain conducts it well. We install both together.

How much does flooring cost per square foot installed in Ontario?

Published 2026 Ontario guides put installed luxury vinyl plank at roughly $4 to $9 per square foot, engineered hardwood at $8 to $16 and porcelain tile at $10 to $20, with large-format and heated floors above that (sources: HomeStars, Westboro Flooring and RenoCalc guides, 2026). We do not publish our own prices; every job is quoted in writing after a free estimate.
